We’re really excited to share something we’ve been working on behind the scenes — and we think you’re going to love it.

This summer, we’re launching a series of guided walking tours in partnership with Todmorden Markets and Visit Calderdale. We have done loads of tours before but this a brand-new initiative, and it feels like a natural next step for everything we do here.

The idea is simple: bring visitors into the heart of the community, walk them round our growing spaces, and let Todmorden do what it does best. Guests will hear the story of how IET began, see the beds and spaces you’ve all helped to create and tend over the years, and get hands-on — picking and tasting, learning about the plants, taking a little bit of Todmorden home with them. After the walk, everyone heads back to the market for a proper feast courtesy of the traders.

In other words, it’s a chance to show off everything you’ve helped build. And that feels like something worth celebrating.

Tours run on the following dates, all 12pm–3pm:
