Get Involved

IET would be nothing without our dedicated, passionate volunteers. Whether you’re an avid gardener, an organiser, a people person, or just keen to make a difference in your local community, we need you.

On the first and third Sunday of every month, we gather at Todmorden College for our Gardening Sunday sessions. We tend, garden, grow, and nurture our growing areas around the town centre, and then we have a big lunch together back at the college. Anyone is welcome, regardless of your background, ability, or gardening know-how.

Our Gardening Sunday sessions would be nothing without our shared meal at the end, and we always need people to cook simple, tasty, plant-based meals for our hungry volunteers. We’ll provide or reimburse you for ingredients, and we’re available to help if you’re not used to cooking for large numbers of people.

IET is run by a committed group of folks who work behind the scenes to manage the organisation, plan and run our different sessions, look after our website and social media, coordinate projects, and lots more. If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, let’s chat!

We rely on clever, talented volunteers with a range of skills, whether that’s art and design, technical stuff, applying for funding, building and fixing things, running events, or working with children. Whatever you’re good at, there’s a space for you here.

Incredible Edible Todmorden is run entirely by volunteers who donate their time, energy, and skills to help improve our community.
