Todmorden College
Another early project, the original wooden raised beds outside Todmorden Community College were removed in 2025 as part of the college’s redevelopment of its frontage.
Soil and wood from these original beds were reallocated around the town centre, and the new concrete beds to the right of the main entrance were installed in 2026.
This area is managed in partnership with the college with further beds planned for the near future.

Access Information
There is level, step free access from the street and via a ramp to the back right of the raised beds. These beds are 46 inches high from the pavement and 24 inches high from the raised area accessible via the rear ramp. There is a good amount of space around the beds, though fixed benches on the higher level limit access somewhat. Seating is available in this area if you need to take a break. Signage in this area is due to be replaced soon.
