The Library Lock
This area was originally municipal planting that was once more taken over by IET. The recent removal of bamboo and stubborn weeds means that replanting is a work in progress. The large painting by Joanna Drake on the library wall is a real highlight of the area.

Access Information
There is step free access to this area, but the ground next to the bed is cobbled and relatively uneven. Planting is done in a raised bed approximately 10 to 16 inches high with access from one side. Seating is available in this area if you need to take a break. Signage in this area is due to be replaced soon.
