Todmorden Apple Day 2026

Welcome to the Incredible Edible Todmorden Apple Day 2026! Join us for a community event celebrating everything apples.

Todmorden College: 10am to 2pm

Our usual Sunday gardening session is taking on a special apple theme, with apple pressing, sauce making, arts and crafts, music, tree planting, and lots more at Tod College. One of a Kind will be providing lunch with extra apple-themed dishes, too.

This session is totally free to attend, just come along. We’ll be pressing apples, so you’ll need something to put them in once you’ve pressed them! You’re welcome to bring your own apples if you have them, and any clean bottles and/or jars you have to take away your freshly pressed juice. This event is suitable for all ages, we just ask that anyone under 18 is accompanied by an adult.

The Whole Foods Cafe and Folklore Centre: 2pm to 6pm

Our afternoon session is split into two events: Apple-themed children’s storytelling and games with Alice Pike (2pm to 3:30pm) and Immortality, Divination and Sin: The Folklore of Apples, apple folklore and crafting for adults with Holly Elsdon (4pm to 6pm).

Both of these sessions are free to attend, but spaces are limited so you’ll need to RSVP in advance please. The links below will let you do just that.

Nan Moor’s: 7pm to 9pm

We’ll be ending the day at the CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year, Nan Moor’s, for a special cider tasting session with Phil Kennedy.

Places for this event are very limited and you’ll need to grab a ticket in advance to come along. These cost £8 and are available via the link below. And, of course, you’ll need to be over 18 for this bit.
