Mint in an old welly boot. Rosemary in a colander. Herbs in an olive tin. If it holds compost and you can poke a hole in the bottom, it’ll grow you dinner.
Every container here has a story, and most of them were donated by our volunteers. Hannah’s churns, Norah’s red push-along, Fran’s water boiler, Poppy’s dollhouse, plus multiple Greek yoghurt containers from Peter and Paul — too many to mention, and all lovingly painted by our talented team! What can you spot? Before you bin it, ask yourself, could I grow fresh food in that?
