Todmorden Police Station
These raised beds were originally built as part of the frenzy of doing and planting in the early days of Incredible Edible Todmorden.
The local police sergeant at the time was keen to have raised beds outside the station, but he said that if he passed the request up to the inspector, nothing would happen. He said, “I wonder what would happen if they just appeared?” and walked away! So, in typical IET fashion, we got on with it and built and planted the beds.

Access Information
There is level, step free access from the street, with the raised beds in this area around 24 inches high. There is at least a 48 inch gap between the beds and a good amount of space around them. Signage in this area is due to be replaced soon.
